JourneyMan Nick DePalma, aka JourneymanBlues, is an Italian-born musician from Ottawa, Ontario. Influenced by legends like B.B. King, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, John Mayall, Otis Redding, and Muddy Waters, his music blends Blues, Rock, and R&B with raw energy and rhythm. Born in Milano, Italy, Nick moved to Canada at a young age. Over the years, he played in Ottawa bands like Scotland Yard, The Sugardaddys, The Prairie Mud Band, and The Journeymen, performing at venues such as The Rainbow, Whipping Post, Downstairs Club, and Grand Central. Today, he focuses on his solo work under JourneymanBlues. A hands-on artist, Nick writes, plays, records, mixes, and masters his tracks using GarageBand. He handles guitar, bass, piano, harmonica, and more, shaping his unique sound independently.
